No food tastes better than being thin feels?
I hear this all the time, and I've even used it to motivate myself. Yes, it is a good motivator, but is it true? Does being "thin" really feel that good? What is the right amount of "thin"? Face it, if we keep seeing something wrong with how we look being "thin" isn't going to change that. How thin will be thin enough? If you keep looking in the mirror for something to be fixed, it doesn't matter what you change. Something will always be "wrong." Now, on the other hand I'm not saying food should be the best thing in the world. Sure, it's good. Yes, we should enjoy food. But gluttony is not attractive. If there is anything we should strive to change it's our look on food. Food is not a filler for moments when you want something else or want something. Food is only a filler for hunger. Don't deprive yourself when you're hungry because you want to lose weight. How bout only eating what you need? I know that makes me feel better than when I binge on food that looks really tasty. Usually, I feel sick or bad afterwards. So, try eating what you need, and you can treat yourself too. Everyone does, but know your limits. Do what's best for your health not what will make you "thin." At the same time, don't eat more than makes you feel full or you might feel sick and ruin your health. Just eat enough to fill you. Oh, and you may make an exception for Thanksgiving as it's coming up soon. ;)

About the author...
Well, let me state that first and foremost this blog is for me. An audience would be welcome, but I'm writing for myself. My other blog was more for others, and I felt like I couldn't say anything and everything I wanted. So, here's a little introduction and a little about me. :)
I love to write. It doesn't matter a whole lot to me whether my writings are perfect or not. I've been writing poetry for at least 5 years if not more. Writing refreshes and renews me. I used writing in the past as a tool to overcome things which troubled me. I love to write, but I don't write as often as I would like. I tend to get depressed to the point where I don't feel like doing anything. So, if I go a long time without writing that's probably why. I also have a problem getting things done. Sometimes due to depression.
Now, moving onto happier things. I'm planning on studying psychology next year. I'm not yet sure what type of career I'm looking for. I think a type of psychologist would be a great occupation for me. I'm introverted, but I love people. I love music. I played a little bit of alto saxophone, guitar, and violin. I have been enrolled in voice lessons for 4-5 years. I am a soprano I and II. I contemplated studying music for a long time, but I erased the idea when I realized I wouldn't enjoy teaching music.
I am a Christian, but that doesn't mean I apply to all the stereotypes that automatically came to your mind when I said that. I have a boyfriend of over two years. I know he's the one. :) I am easy to make friends with, but I have lost contact with some of my best friends. Some of my best friends are also spread across the country, sadly. I love indie and folk music the best. Other than that, I love all music except things that sound too country. I love coffee, crafts, and shopping. I love rats. I wish I could own one. Perhaps in the future. I have a sweet ten year old golden retriever named Angel.
Okay... enough rambling for now. :)
